Superior Sea View King Room
The most popular rooms at The Rockside are undoubtedly the magnificent bay windowed bedrooms offering panoramic sea views across the whole of the North Bay, Scarborough Castle and Coastline. Situated on the First and Second Floor each room features a pair of leather armchairs and table in the bay window, the perfect place to sit and admire the Best View in Scarborough. Furnished with a luxurious king size bed with 2000 pocket spring mattress ensuring a perfect nights sleep. There’s no wonder our many returning guests ask for these rooms. If you are treating someone to a special break away, then is the room you are looking for!
Sea View King Room
The Sea View King Room is situated on the third floor. The spacious room features twin aspect windows overlooking the magnificent North Bay. There’s a luxurious 2000 pocket spring king size bed and seating area for 2 guests.
Two Room King Suite (Sleeps 4)
The largest Two Room Suite is light & airy with high ceilings and is located on the First Floor at The Rockside. The Family Suite is ever popular with returning guests. The spacious master bedroom has a 2000 pocket spring king size bed and a seating area for two guests with leather chairs and table. The connecting door leads from the master bedroom into an adjoining room with two Single Beds suitable for 2 children over 5 years. In addition to the en suite in the master bedroom, there is a wash hand basin and additional TV in the adjoining room. This room is suitable for 3 adults sharing but can only be booked by telephone for this combination.
Two Room King Suite (Sleeps 3)
Situated on the Third Floor at The Rockside, the popular Two Room Suite comprises a spacious master bedroom with luxury 2000 pocket spring king size bed and seating area for two guests. A connecting door leads from the master bedroom into a small adjoining single bedroom. The modern, en suite bathroom with bath, shower over and wc is accessed from the smaller adjoining room. The room is ideal for families of 2 adults and 1 child over 5 years. The Suite is suitable for 3 adults sharing but can only be booked by telephone for this guest combination.
King Room
Situated on either the first or second floor, the spacious King Room are generous in size with a luxury 2000 pocket spring king size bed. The rooms are light and with table and 2 leather chairs. The Superior Double Room does not have a Sea View. The outlook from the window is typical in a Victorian urban location.
Double Room
The Double Room with 4’6’’ bed is situated on the second floor at The Rockside. The Double Room does not have a Sea View. The outlook is typical in a Victorian urban location.
Sea View Double Room
The Sea View Double rooms at The Rockside are extremely popular with returning guests and are situated on the first, second and third floor. Each room is decorated and furnished to the same high standards with a 4’6’’ double bed and seating area for 2 guests with leather chairs and table in the window offering the perfect place to sit and admire the unrivalled view.
Ground Floor Double Room
Situated on the ground floor, this spacious double bedroom is an ideal room for guests with limited mobility or for those who prefer not to take the stairs. There is a pleasant seating area in the room with table and 2 leather chairs. The compact en suite shower/wc room is light and airy. The Ground Floor Double bedroom is situated at the rear of the property and does not have a sea view.
Small Double Room
Situated on the ground floor the Small Double Room is a small, but perfectly formed double bedroom with 4’6” double bed and compact en suite shower/wc room. The room is ideal for the budget conscious guest or for guests with limited mobility or for those who prefer not to take the stairs. The room is available for single occupancy at a reduced room rate. The Small Double Room is situated at the rear of the property and does not have a sea view.
